C U CLEAR conducts employment verifications and reference checks in response to an inquiry by a prospective employer, a government agency, or an outside entity needing a report of investigation on past employment. In most cases, the requesting organization wants an array of pertinent data verified about the overall rating and performance of the individual in question. Some candidates may be less than truthful about their employment related history. Additionally, internal research shows this to be the number one discrepancy on resumes and job applications. Our vetting processes thoroughly filters through the information, identifies red flags, and verifies the validity of the information. We further validate information by conducting onsite and/or telephone interviews with current and former supervisors, coworkers, and acquaintances of an applicant to gain more personal knowledge about the applicant’s skills and overall performance, including patterns of misconduct and/or previous violations. An employment verification can differentiate honest mistakes from truly egregious attempts to further one’s career through blatantly inflated claims of salary and responsibility, or even attempts to cover up significant gaps in employment which should otherwise be explained.
